We spent ours at home sick for the most part, but the family that gets sick together, sticks together. Or something like that... :)
We're braving a second winter with our ducks and wondering why we didn't poor a slab of cement in their coop over the summer. It's been impossible to keep dry and not disgusting. I even wrapped the run in clear plastic this winter ( not completely, I left room for ventilation but it seems to have been too much room...).
Yesterday we had a large storm roll through and turn the duck run into a little mucky, pooy, lake. This isn't good, and seems to be draining slow. It's been impossible keeping anything dry.
On the other hand, we're actually getting rain here. It's been years since it's rained like this and it's so desperately needed. Just not in the duck run.
Because of the weather, I've been inside a great deal of time and have been trying to get my creative on during my free times. Between home schooling my son and work there isn't much of it!
The cut-outs are going to be arranged in collages, and put on Greeting Cards. They will also be for sale in my shop.
I also ordered some new business cards... Aren't they just the cutest?
I promise, when the weather gets better there will be a Lucky Duck Grove photo overload.
These pictures were taken within the last few weeks though, so enjoy.
