Photo taken today 2/5/2016 It's been a bit difficult to find any flowers in bloom around here, but I'm looking. I've requested flowers for Valentines Day, so hopefully I'll have something pretty and bright for you guys soon. Despite being dead, it's still beautiful in it's own way.
Prints are available here. Or I could turn them into a 5x7 greeting card for you, just visit my "shop" page above!
Keeping my chin up as best I can. Do you every have moments in your life where you just feel cursed?
Where everything feels like it's crumbling down around you. It doesn't matter what you do, or how hard you try. It's just not going to work out in a positive fashion for you.
We had a cancer scare in the family. A couple weeks ago, after and MRI scan, the doctors said my father might have Carcinoma, cancer in his Left kidney. Until we know more we're trying to stay positive. The waiting and not knowing has been the worst. Update : I received positive news just a little bit ago, While my father will have to go in for surgery, nothing has spread and the tumors on his kidneys are benign. They will only need to remove little parts and not the whole kidney. The doctors seemed optimistic that day will be with us for a long time.
And while this pails in comparison, I lost my job yesterday, I knew it was coming but you're never really ready for it. I could see the train headed straight for me for several weeks but I couldn't dodge it. My numbers weren't high enough - in other words. I wasn't making them enough money so I was cut-loose. I can only hope this is some sort of blessing in disguise, leading me on to better things. The pay was crappy, I will miss this tips though :)
Our goal is still to move to Maine come summer. I pray to the powers that be every day that this will happen.
